Pioneer's HTZ252DVD Home Theatre System is powerful home theatre system that delivers clear, quality sound. 360W digital power
The compact HTZ252DVD comes with four stylish 'tallboy' surround sound speakers to deliver a powerful surround sound experience. The digital power supply avoids distortion when playing back digital sources (such as audio CD or DVD video).  Whats more, the compact size of the digital amplifier allows a slim and stylish design.

All you need to do is copy your JPEG photos and the music data to a DVD/CD disc or USB memory device. Then, simply plug it into the handy front panel USB connector for a whole new style of multimedia entertainment.

GigaByte Music
Now you can enjoy all the music on your PC in your living room thanks to Pioneer's GigaByte music system. Simply burn your music collection to a DVD data disc for easy, instant playback on your PIoneer home theatre system. Now theres no need for troublesome swapping CDs because your Pioneer system becomes a jukebox with over 1000 songs availible.

Playback formats
Pioneer home theatre systems not only play back DVD-R/RW discs, but also CD and VCD discs as well as WMA and JPEG files. What's more, the HTZ252DVD also plays back DivX- the most popular video compression technology.

Pioneer's HTZ252DVD features advanced video technology that delivers smooth, film-like images free from flicker and other unwanted artefacts on moving objects.

As well as incredible performance, Pioneer home theatre systems are easy-to-use. The HTZ252DVD also features colour-coded speaker wires with 'phone-jack' connections for trouble-free set up. The speakers supplied with this system have an impedance of 6 ohms. This system has the capability to use speakers with an impedance of 4-6 ohms.

Disc Player addtional information:

• CD-R/RW DVD-R/RW Playback: Disc may not be played back because of following reasons: recording characteristics of recorder, characteristics of disc, scratches and dust on disc, dust and condensation on pickup lens. CD-R/CD-RW Playback: CD-R/CD-RW discs for Audio, recorded in CD Audio, Video CD or MP3/WMA audio formatting can be played back. Unfinalized discs cannot be played back. DVD-R/DVDRW Playback: Unfinalized discs cannot be played back.
• DivX® Compatibility:  DivX® 5, DivX® 4, DivX® 3, and DivX® VOD video content (in compliance with DivX® Certified technical requirements).
• JPEG file compatibility: This player is compatible with FUJICOLOR CD and KODAK Picture CD formats, as well as CD-R/CD-RW/CD-ROMs containing JPEG files.
• MPEG1 Audio must be a Layer3 format with a sampling rate of 32, 44.1 or 48 kHz. Recording format should be in accordance with ISO9660 Level 1 or Level 2 CD-ROM file system. Note that if the file structure is very complex, you may not be able to read/play all files on the disc.
• WMA content can be encoded by using Windows Media® Player version 8 (or less), or Windows Media® player for Windows® XP. Compatible with sampling rate of 32, 44.1 or 48 kHz.
• "A-B Repeat" is available for DVD, CD Audio, Video CD, SVCD. Not available for WMA/MP3. "All Repeat" is unavailable for DivX®. *7) "Programmed Play" is unavailable for 'VR Mode (DVD Video Recording Mode)' format DVD-RW discs, Video CD/ SVCD in PBC mode, DivX®, WMA/MP3 discs, or while a DVD disc menu is being displayed.
• MP3/WMA/MPEG-4 AAC files with copy protection or restricted playback may not play on Pioneer home theatre systems.
• Pioneer cannot guarantee compatibility with all USB storage devices and assumes no responsibliity for any loss of data that may occur when connected to it's DVD home theatre systems.
