The amplifier distributes 40 watts per channel to each of the system's 5 compact satellite speakers (left, center, right, and left/right surround), while the standalone subwoofer packs a potent 50 watts. All major movie surround signals are decoded and routed to their appropriate speakers: Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II (which generates 5.1 surround from any stereo source, whether movie or music), and DTS 5.1-channel surround sound.
